Spiritual Growth

We believe that discipleship is a friendship with a vision. Jesus had disciples, learners, and followers of His teaching. Therefore, we want our discipleship relationships to reflect this. Discipleship groups are made up of individuals eager to learn more about following Jesus. We at CU desire to come alongside college students, live life with them and help them know Christ and make Him known.

Want to connect with other students at CU and grow in your faith? Community groups exist on and around campus to help you develop real relationships with the people who live around you. Plus its also your Bible study and outreach team! Community nights help connect you with students in your area, as well as provide opportunities for mentoring and Bible study from upperclassmen in the ministry.

The heart of our campus ministry is to help students grow to know Christ in a deep and transforming way and to share the love of Christ with their friends. The CU Boulder Navigators is a ministry built on relationships and community. We believe that it is through community that college students come to know Christ, mature in their relationships with Him, and share their lives and faith with others through evangelism and discipleship and friendship.

Who We Are

The Navigators ministry at the University of Colorado believes Jesus came so that everyone who believes in Him "may have life and have it abundantly" (John 10:10). College students need this abundant life that God offers through Jesus. The heartbeat of The Navigators is discipleship or intentional mentoring. Jesus came alongside a few ordinary people at a pivotal point in history and walked with them so that they might know Him, and make Him known. Our goal is to be with college students. We desire to show them Christ's love in a truthful and powerful way, that will change their lives forever.

We relate to college students by aspiring to live life alongside them. We have prayer groups, Bible study communities, Nav Nights (large group meetings), leadership training sessions, Investigative Bible Conversations, outreach events and groups, and general fun activities like hiking, mountain biking, camping,  intramural teams, or random things like having a dinner party on someone's front lawn!

The Navigators is an internationally recognized non-profit. Our college ministries are active on 160 campuses across the nation. Learn more about The Navigators and our statement of faith.
